We are committed to improving your physical functioning as quickly as possible following surgery, injury or illness. Our physical, occupational and speech therapists coordinate plans for the highest quality rehabilitation regimens and training therapies for: joint replacement or other surgery, fracture or stroke, other serious illnesses. Our goal is to optimize guests' functional mobility and speed recovery.

Following a stroke or other neurological conditions, we work with guests to regain their independence. Our team of professionals focus on the physical and emotional issues that may result from a stroke, and we provide therapies to address those needs.

We provide effective interventions for the behavioral health needs of our residents. Our behavioral programming is designed to help residents improve their ability to manage life’s problems in a healthier manner and discover new coping skills to deal with overwhelming issues. It also aims to help reduce conflicts and assist residents to live happier, better quality lives.

Our programs offer a variety of in-patient psychosocial programs to enhance recovery and assist with coping strategies and tools by sharing experiences and encouragement with other residents that foster a community atmosphere within the facility.

Our psychiatric rehabilitation programs help individuals with mental illness develop the emotional, social, and intellectual skills needed to live, learn, and work in the community. This programming helps individuals build skills and access resources needed to increase their capacity to be successful and satisfied in living, working, learning, and social environments.

The Grove at Skokie’s structural programs offer activities to encourage mobility, financial enlightenment and benefit application support. We also offer an incentive program, The Grove Bucks, for residents who are compliant with their care plan and medication schedule. Some of The Grove Bucks rewards include: headphones, baseball caps, snacks and more.
